What to Expect From Your Dentist Near Silverdale

When you have a cracked tooth, need a filling, or just want to have your teeth cleaned, a visit to your dentist Near Silverdale will ease your toothache and leave your teeth pearly white. Many people dread visiting their dentist, but this doesn’t need to be an uncomfortable experience. We understand the fear some may have and will do all we can to put your fears to rest. Coming to us for regular cleanings can help you overcome your fears and make your next visit more pleasant.

We offer a range of dental care services. Many dental clinics only offer basic dental care, but here is what you can expect from us when it comes to your dental treatment:

  • Emergency care. You never know when a tooth may break or when you’ll experience toothache and require dental care. Many people have woken up in the morning to extreme toothache and have had to sit at a dentist’s office for hours before receiving treatment. We understand how painful toothache can be, so we have an emergency dental care service.

  • Implants. As we get older, our teeth become brittle and may need to be extracted, leaving a gap in your mouth that can affect your smile smiling or make it uncomfortable to chew. We can replace these teeth with implants. These are secured in your jaw using a titanium fixture, ensuring they last for years to come.

  • Clear aligners. Not all people are blessed with good genetics when it comes to their teeth; an overbite or misaligned teeth are common occurrences. We can help with custom-made, clear aligners, which are virtually invisible, that will straighten your teeth. It may take time for you to get used to your aligners, but you may not even notice them anymore after a few weeks. We’ll give you tips on caring for your aligners to ensure you don’t contract any infections in your gums.

What Sets Us Apart When It Comes to Dental Treatment

When to Visit a Dentist in Orewa

Many people know they should visit a dental office twice a year to have their teeth properly cleaned to remove plaque build-up to prevent gingivitis. Many people forget to make their dentist appointments, which can lead to dental problems later on. While you may only visit your dentist when you’re experiencing pain, with regular check-ups, your dentist can detect potential problems before they cause discomfort. Here are some reasons you may need to visit your dentist in Orewa:

  • Inflamed gums. If you find that your gums are starting to look redder rather than pink and are tender to the touch, this could be a sign of gum disease. While many gum diseases can be treated at home, more severe infections need to be tended to by us.

  • White spots. One of the first signs of tooth decay is white spots start to appear on your teeth. The earlier you get to us, the easier it’ll be for us to treat this and prevent your teeth from developing cavities.

  • Whitening your teeth. Over the years, your teeth may become yellow due to smoking, the foods you eat and the drinks you consume. If you find that regular teeth cleaning does not work for you, we can also do a teeth whitening procedure.
